What Our Customers Say

Bear Reviews

  • I have 9 honeybee hives at my house and live on a ridge with black bears in both valleys.  The bears have gotten into my garbage cans 600 feet from my house, but have not bothered my bees since I installed the Nite Guard Solar lights.  They must be working.  I just ordered more.

Birds Reviews

  • We have thousands of robins that migrate into our area in the fall and winter to eat the juniper berries. They leave a terrible mess of droppings everywhere. My horse water troughs were a favorite spot for them to drink and contaminate the water with their droppings. I used duct tape to attach the repellent tape strips to the fence pipe near the troughs and it has worked perfectly! It isn’t easy to dump troughs and clean them frequently here in the winter. Your product has made my life ... read more

Bobcat Reviews

  • “The cost of these lights is nothing compared to the value of my birds. I have had problems with owl, cougars, bobcats and mountain lions. I have not lost one bird since I put these lights up.”

Coyote Reviews

  • A couple of years ago, I decided I wanted to raise and breed heritage chickens. I began to read every book, article, and blog I could get my hands on. I wanted nothing but the best for MY chickens. I was really worried about the fox, coyote, raccoon, and skunks we have on the island. One day I came across an article for Nite Guard Solar lights. I had seen other products that claimed to keep the predators away, but after doing some research, it was Nite Guard I purchased for my first coop. Bec... read more

Deer Reviews

  • Our 30 acre vineyard is located on the side of a mountain that is also covered with dense forest.  The deer were ruining our crop at several locations, and I was going to put in a deer fence (cost estimate of $30,000).  I saw your ad and decided to try your product first.  I’m afraid the fence installer is going to be disappointed as I have no need for an expensive fence now that I have started using Nite Guard.  We have had no issues with crop loss where we have used your product.  I h... read more

Mink Reviews

  • Thank you, Thank you! I have raised chickens for seven years and every year I have lost most of my flock to raccoons and minks. I have tried everything and nothing worked. I installed Nite Guards all around the barn in 2008 and now my chickens and goats are very, very happy…and alive! Thank you again Nite Guard!

Owl Reviews

  • You name it, I tried it. Nothing worked for my owl problem.  I lost one or more chickens every night. I ordered your Nite Guard solar lights and hung the lights at 8 feet on my hoop houses because it was simple. The owls were still coming and a couple months later I RE-READ the instructions and mounted them AS WAS STATED IN THE INSTRUCTIONS instead of the way I found easiest. I mounted the lights on 2×2 poles, twelve feet high, and in all four directions for 360 degree coverage. Then BOO... read more

Rabbit Reviews

  • Ever since 2011 we started using Nite Guard around our 100′ x 60′ garden in the Berkshires. We have not lost one plant to deer, bear, coyote or rabbits. Every one that I tell about it is a bit doubtful at first. I have told each one if they are not happy with your product I would buy it from them and use it my self. One friend in VT had bears into his bee hives which were surrounded by electric wire, with Nite Guard the bears have stayed away. The key is to move the units every so... read more

Security Reviews

  • I am not one to “weigh in” or comment on every offer I receive on the internet. However, after I received the last offer from your company, I did an assessment of all the “blinking” lights that I installed years ago from your company to see if any needed to be replaced! Nope! All are still blinking away. The next time I order I will write the date on them, and I am sure they will outlive me! Each and every one of them are still blinking and keeping nocturnal wildlife a... read more

Weasel Reviews

  • “At last, a trick that works! I am a fancy fowl hobbyist and have had everything from owl, weasel, coyote and coons as culprits. This year I read your article in Backyard Poultry and decided to try the Nite Guard. I have not lost a single critter to predators since putting the Nite Guard in place. I highly recommend the Nite Guard. It is a great investment.”

Wild Boar Reviews

  • We have many 6x6s out now, each with 3 Nite Guards and a lot of individual Nite Guards on posts all over the property. We use 6×6 treated lumber. These are cut at 24″ high. I add numbers to the top of each piece so we can keep track of their location on our 65 acres. We add eye bolts on two sides, so we can anchor the 6×6 with rope and tent stakes to the ground. We are very proud of our Nite Guards that help us night after night.

Wolf Reviews

  • I have deployed my first order of Nite Guard units and ordered six more. I want to thank you for an absolutely outstanding product.

I was initially doubtful as to the effectiveness of your product, but nevertheless placed them about the approximately 20 acre pasture that I use for the saddle horses. Each Nite Guard unit was placed such that its beam interlocked with the beams of each other unit on its flanks, creating a solid wall of visual coverage around the entire perimeter of the p... read more
